Meet the Designer: Gustavo

In today’s fast-paced world, finding moments of solitude often feels like a luxury. After years immersed in the fashion industry, designing for various brands, I came to the realization that true creativity flourishes in moments of reflection and tranquility. I discovered how vital these pockets of peace are to my well-being. I particularly find solace in sunsets; their breathtaking beauty brings me a sense of serenity that helps ground my thoughts and refocus my creativity. The vibrant colors and calming essence of sunsets inspired the evolution of STAHVO's logo design, symbolizing the tranquility and warmth I aim to embody through the brand.

This newfound awareness inspired me to step away from corporate life and embark on creating STAHVO, a brand that celebrates that transformative experience. Now, I divide my time between Barcelona, Los Angeles, and Tulum. In these vibrant cities, I find inspiration and design my collections, weaving together diverse cultural influences that reflect my journey. Living according to my leisurely schedule and embracing the privilege of time—whether to travel, connect with inspiring cultures, or simply pause to watch the sun dip below the horizon, has deepened my understanding of myself and my values.
